End of Summer at The Boat Inn

Come to Stoke Bruerne, an idyllic canalside village in Northamptonshire, where our Connétable for Northamptonshire & Bedfordshire, Andrew Woodward, is hosting one of his famous sabrage dinners at The Boat Inn, an historic pub and restaurant that has been in his family for several generations (learn more here). Andrew hosts two dinners each year, one in April (Herald of Spring) to welcome in the warm weather, and one in September (End of Summer) to bid it farewell until the following year—both are equally wonderful, and thoroughly worth the trip.

The evening will begin with a sunset sabrage-fuelled Champagne reception,* after which we will make our way to Woodward’s Restaurant for a superb four-course candlelit dinner, during and after which we will be serenaded by the Lincoln Noel Jazz Trio.

*Sabrage costs an additional £35, but this is excellent value, as it includes your bottle of Champagne!
