Caveaux

What is a Caveau?

A Caveau de Sabrage is a venue with a formal affiliation to an Embassy of the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or, at which certain members of staff are members of the Confrérie, and licensed sabrage instructors (Maîtres-Sabreurs). They form an exclusive collection of hotels, restaurants, members’ Clubs, wine bars, and other establishments dedicated to fine dining and the enjoyment of Champagne.

The UK & Ireland Ambassador and members of his Council welcome the Lansdowne Club in London as a Caveau de Sabrage

Caveaux organise events promoting the art of sabrage, to which our members are invited, along with their own members or patrons. This provides an excellent opportunity for our members to visit new places and meet new people, and for hospitality venues to add the trademark Confrérie sparkle to their special events.
